Whether you spend your time working in the dark or you just want to be able to check the time at a glance when you wake up in the middle of night, luminous watches can give you exactly what you need.
Surprisingly, there are a number of completely technologies used by different watch manufacturers to provide luminosity and most watches work in a different way to other watches. Of course, choosing the right one for you can almost be as difficult as finding the queen in a crooked game of three card Monte (and cost you almost as much money!)

Hello Everyone,

The Gurkhas have been part of the British Army for 200 years.”Better to die than be a coward” is the motto of the world-famous Nepalese Gurkha soldiers who are a crucial part of the British Army since 1815. The Gurkhas have come a long way and since 2009 have been granted right to live in the UK after the long running campaign with the support of Joan Lumley.

And, to celebrate this memento moment Gurkha Jewellers UK, wanted to launch this limited edition of Sekonda Watch with the Khukuri, inside the dial along with a special message on the back each watches.
An 18 inch long curved knife, known as “the khukuri” is still carried as part as their traditional weapon and has always been a key factor in recognising a Gurkha Army.
